The process of customising bridal gown and wedding bands

Did my first bridal fitting on Friday..... Tried on the pearl white wedding gown with tulle skirt first and it turned out to be loose. Mel (bridal designer) pinned up the excess and as expected, i got prick by the pins as I am too "chu lu". After which, she helped me put on the additional long satin skirt which i intend to have during solemnisation and dinner walk-in. Both of us were flabbergasted by the transformation - from a princessy feel to elegant touch. I must say that the additional cost is well spent. Next is my evening gown - we chose salmon pink (my fav colour), red and yellow to create similar flowy effect as what i shortlist from the bridal magazine but the red doesnt turn out to be as obvious as the pink and yellow. Anyway, on the whole, i am satisfied with both gowns.

After my fitting, we change our focus to the groom who is often neglected when he also contributes to the wedding fund. BE took his measurement for his suit... As much as he wanted a white suit, he chose a black one with satin collar in the end to match my black lace gown and also for practicality reasons. Scheduled second fitting date is on May 11.........

Next, we traveled down to Fairy's Inc to customise our rings. We like those vine designs and took a sample of UBS ang bao which has such prints for Evelyn, one of the pretty Fairy's Inc boss, to view. She extracted some designs and drew it on a sample ring for us to try on. The design will be embossed on the rings, champagne gold for BE and rose gold for me. We couldnt decide on the date which we will like to engrave on the rings - should it be 14 Aug (our dating and proposal date) or should it be one month and one day later - 15 Sept (our wedding date????) Fortunately, we still have some time to think and decide on it. The whole process took us about an hour plus and the finalised design is out all thanks for BE's precious input and Evelyn's dedicated effort.
